Geography and transport in Ukraine

Onshore

The on-shore operations in Ukraine, Lelyaki, are located in Dnieper-Donets Basin in east-central Ukraine. The Dnieper-Donets Basin is a prolific producer of high-quality, light oil.

Transportation is facilitated by an easy tie-in to Ukraine's oil and gas infrastructure and extensive pipeline network to European markets.

The Lelyaki field has been in production since the 1960's.

Offshore

The Arkhangelskoye license is located in the Black Sea. The field is currently producing from the Maikop and Tortonian formations, lying above the interval where Shelton Petroleum has its interest. There is a pipeline with free capacity running under the Arkhangelskoye license area.

The company's concessions in the North, East and West Biryucha fields are located approximately 50 km off the Ukrainian coast in water depths of 20 m.
